Real Wedding: G & B

In today’s Real Wedding segment, we feature G&B’s Moroccan themed wedding which took place on August 30, 2015. Nearly 300 guests witnessed as these two love birds tied the knot on a beautiful summer day in the Greater Toronto Area.

About The Ceremony
A traditional hour long Coptic Orthodox ceremony took place at Holy Virgin and Saint Mark Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Markham, Ontario. Six bridal party members and an adorable flower girl (wheeled in her own wagon!) led the processional. A special moment…the groom met the bride at the front doors of the chapel and they walked down the aisle together.

About The Reception
A Moroccan themed reception at Hazelton Manor filled with colourful place settings, lantern centrepices, and vibrant tents set the scene for G&B’s reception. Wedding decor included Egyptian ladies (props!) and even a camel statue. A Zaffeh group and belly dancer kicked off the couple’s grand entrance and a second belly dancer got the dance floor started.

G&B’s formal photos took place at Vellore Hall Park in Woodbridge.

P.S. Eventful’s Planning
G&B called P.S. Eventful on a Friday, had an initial meeting on the following Monday, where they booked our Day of Wedding Coordination package…exactly six days before their wedding. Within the limited time we confirmed timings with all their vendors, created a detailed six page wedding itinerary and ironed out all the logistics for the big day. On the wedding day, we managed all aspects from the ceremony to formal photos to reception. The wedding was an extraordinary celebration and P.S. Eventful was thrilled to be a part of it.
