In today’s Real Wedding segment, we feature S & J’s spring wedding which took place on April 16, 2016. It was an intimate Catholic ceremony followed by a joyous Italian reception.
About The Ceremony
A traditional hour long Catholic ceremony took place at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Toronto. A beautiful bridal party, including four adorable ring bearers, began the processional followed by the bride and her parents.
About The Reception
Class black, white, and silver set the tone at Supreme Luxury Event Venue for S & J’s wedding reception. A traditional receiving table and mouth-watering anti-pasto spread greeted guests upon arrival, alongside some DIY creations by the couple. Highlights of the evening included a football themed garter toss and a funnel cake late night station.

P.S. Eventful’s Planning
S&J booked P.S. Eventful’s Day of Coordination package. During the month of the wedding, we attended the final venue meeting, met the couple’s families and attended the rehearsal. We also finalized all the details with vendors and created a comprehensive five page, colour-coded day of itinerary. On the wedding day, we started at the bride’s house and tackled the small “emergency” of repairing the ring bearer’s boutonniere. We successfully cued the on-time ceremony, assisted with formal photos, and managed reception set-up. Good pre-planning led to a seamless wedding day.
