As a new year is underway, P.S. Eventful reminisces about our incredible weddings from 2016. From managing a 1000 person South Asian reception to cuing a handful of Horas to bringing many DIY creations to life, 2016 was another year of beautiful, fun, and diverse weddings. Here’s our top 5 P.S. Eventful wedding planner moments of 2016:

#5: We love when couples think outside the box and loved assembling this donut wedding cake in April at Berkeley Church in Toronto.

#4: These three ring bearers stole our hearts during our first wedding of the year at Supreme Luxury Event Venue in Vaughan.

#3: So many great speeches last year but our fave is when these two sisters/bridesmaids read snippets from the bride’s childhood diary in August at The Boiler House in Toronto. (Photo: Nikki Mills Photography)

#2: We swooned over this floral installation by Ashton Creative in October at Archeo in Toronto.

Honorary mention: It’s been fantastic seeing tons of past P.S. Eventful couples at weddings! In 2016, over 50% of our couples were referrals from past (and existing) clients. A referral is the greatest compliment any business owner can receive and we strive for P.S. Eventful to become a 100% referral based business.

#1: There’s no photo of the exact moment when a bride woke up the morning after her wedding day and shared the groom was in happy tears the night before…”the wedding exceeded his expectations…” The wedding was the very first wedding at Footprints Resort in Bancroft. There was no template to follow, no existing floor plan, no photos of past weddings for inspiration, and the couple lived on the opposite end of the globe. In that exact moment, we were reminded of why we started this business in the first place. (Photo: Chance Faulkner Photographer)

Thank you to each of our couples and the many vendors we’ve had the opportunity to work with in 2016. The year exceeded our expectations and we can only imagine what the future has in store for P.S. Eventful!
